South London Jazz Orchestra’s 25th Anniversary Charity Concert
Sands Ends Arts and Community Centre
undefined
South London Jazz Orchestra will be performing just over Wandsworth Bridge at Sands End Arts and Community Centre, as they celebrate their 25th anniversary.
South London Jazz Orchestra (SLJO) is a diverse group of talented musicians—a big band with the emphasis on big! Their aim is to share their love of jazz around London and beyond, help raise money for charity, and have as much fun as possible while doing so. The band plays around 35-40 gigs in a very broad range of places, and never fails to put on a great show.
In tribute to and loving memory of SLJO's co-founder, Bob Bridges, all profits from the gig will be donated to Cure Parkinson's in support of their vital work. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.
